Website and Service Terms & Conditions

1. General Agreement

These Terms & Conditions govern your relationship with Hair by Natalie Blake regarding all services, including In-Home Salon, Tonbridge Studio, and Bridal & Event styling. By proceeding with a booking (including paying a deposit or booking fee), you agree to these terms in full.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Salon Appointments (In-Home & Tonbridge): All salon bookings are made instantly via the Fresha booking platform and are subject to Fresha’s standard booking and payment terms.

  • Bridal Booking Fee (Deposit): A non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee is required to secure your event date. This fee secures Natalie’s availability and is deducted from the final balance.

  • Pricing: All pricing is as quoted on the Pricing & Booking page and confirmed at the time of booking.

  • Final Balance (Bridal): The remaining balance for bridal and event styling is due on a pre-agreed date prior to the event.

3. Trials and Consultations

  • Colour Consultations: New clients are required to book a ‘patch test & consultation’ at least 48 hours before any colour service for safety and technical reasons.

  • Bridal Trials: The bridal package includes a 1.5-hour trial. Any trial for a bridal party member is a separate, one-hour trial. Trial fees are non-refundable once the trial has been completed.

  • Location: Trials take place at a location agreed upon, typically at the Kilndown In-Home Salon.

4. Cancellations and Postponements

  • General Cancellation: All booking fees and deposits are strictly non-refundable in the event of a client cancellation, date change, or reduction in services after the booking is confirmed.

  • Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to the specific terms outlined in the Refund Policy page (which governs notice periods and potential fees) and the cancellation rules set by the Fresha platform for salon services.

  • Artist Cancellation: In the unlikely event Natalie Blake is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to find a suitable replacement. If a replacement cannot be found, a full refund will be issued for the unfulfilled service, excluding any fees for completed trials.

5. Travel, Expenses, and Event Logistics

  • Travel Charges (Bridal): For weddings outside of a 10-mile radius of the Kilndown In-Home Salon, there is a £1 per mile travel charge for the round trip.

  • Assistant Charge: For wedding parties of 7 or more (including the bride), a £100 assistant charge is applied to ensure timely completion.

  • Client Responsibility: The client is responsible for providing all necessary parking, toll charges, or congestion charges, and for ensuring a safe and suitable working area on the day of the service.

6. Client Responsibility and Safety

  • Allergies/Sensitivities: It is the client’s responsibility to inform Natalie Blake of any known sensitivities, allergies, or medical conditions that may affect the service.

  • Refusal of Service: Natalie Blake reserves the right to refuse service for health and safety reasons, including signs of contagious illness. In such cases, the full service fee may still be payable.
